Jed's Graduation

My first cousin, Jed, graduated from Batesburg-Leesville High School this past Friday night. We went to graduation and then to a party with a few of the graduates after it was over. We had a good time. Dad's been having some shoulder problems so he didn't get to go to graduation. Then on Saturday we held a yard sale at my mom's families store. We made a good bit of money on the junk that we sold :).

Vacation Bible School started on Sunday night so it will be a busy few days. We only go until Wednesday so at least it's not all week.

Next Thursday, the 19th, Mom, Clair, Julie, and I are traveling to DC. We are going to be there until the 24th. We hope to go visit the White House while we are there. We still haven't gotten final confirmation that we can go but it looks good.

In March, I submitted an abstract for Inforum, my companies user conference, to do a presentation on one of our program's add-ons. Today I finally got the email that my presentation was accepted. I'm excited. I've never done anything like this before. I don't know how many will sign up but they say you usually do the presentation to about 100-150 users. The conference is October 14-16. Anyone want to come to Vegas with me? My company pays for the room. You would just have to pay for your flight. Just a thought.

Here are a few pictures from the graduation this weekend:
