Did a 6.7 mile (423 EG) hike in the Clemson Forest today. Saw a lot of mushrooms after all the rain this week and saw a couple guys jump off of the dam during our lunch break which is always fun! A little humid today but a great day for a hike. The orange on the map is what we did today. Started at Indian Springs and did the Lawrence Trail to the Issaqueena Lake Trail to the Dam Road Trail to the Hardwood Trail and back to the Lawrence Trail to complete the loop.
Did a short 4 mile hike today in the Clemson Forest. Came in from the Six Mile side and parked at the first parking area on the left on Issaqueena Lake Rd. Started on the Lawrence trail and made it a loop with the Rocky Trail. Then continued on the Indian Springs trail to the Roy and Dale Trail and back to the Lawrence trail and Indian Springs trail back to the car. Saw a few wildflowers and some small waterfalls. Nice cool morning but was warming up by the time I finished.
