New River Gorge NP - Historic Nuttallburg

Explored Historic Nuttallburg which is an old coal town.  They also had remnants of coke ovens which is a better coal that burns with less smoke.  We saw the tipple which is how they brought the coal down from the mines and some old remnants of schools, churches, houses, and the general store.  No one else was there so if you want a place to yourself I recommend this one.  The road was narrow getting to this place.  So glad we didn't have to pass any cars.  Did 2.8 M with 314 EG.  GPS Trailhead coordinates: 38.050116, -81.040171.
